    1. Yes! There will be six books total, plus the prequel novella, Half-Blood. I'm currently editing book 3, Samara's Peril, for publication. It should be ready for release early next year. :)

  11. I'm so excited for your next book, although I'm still working through the second! ;) I love your writing style and the characters? Let's just say I have a crush on a fictionalized guy named Jaye. ;) Kyrin is so relatable, I love her! She and Kaden's relationship is the sweetest thing. <3 I'm loving your books, don't stop… EVER!!!! Thank you,

    For the King,
    Jazzy

  13. Hi, Jaye! I've recently finished your books, and I absolutely loved them! They were beautifully written, and a book I will definitely read more than once(and I don't re-read all that often). Thank you for writing such wonderful books, I'm excited for Samara's Peril to come out!

  15. Reading Samara's Peril right now. Haven't finished it yet but just as good as the others. I really love how Jace is finding who he is. Can't wait to finish it! Don't want to give a spoiler alert so just going to say the scene where Jayce confronts James at the gate was awesome!

  18. Hi Jaye. I am a church librarian and am putting your series in our library. I'd like to know where to place Half Blood on the shelf. Should it go after Book 2? My readers are very good about reading books in order and depend on my classification on the spine label I attach. Please advise when you can. Thank you!

    1. Hey! Thanks so much for including Ilyon in your church library! I would say that even though it takes place before any of the other books, Half-Blood would best be read right after Resistance (Book 1). I mostly refer to it as Book 1.5. ;)

  19. I've only read the first book so far but I'm going to order the next three books like tonight lol. Your first book though was AWESOME, you developed the characters so well and to me characters can make a good book great. I'm actually shocked that your books haven't got more attention, after reading the first book and the awesome reviews on the next three, I think these books rival some of the best fantasy out there. I also couldn't find your books on iBooks which surprised me.

  20. This book series is phenomenal!!! I'm not someone who cry's easily but these I've found myself doing just that. Connecting with the characters and feeling what they feel is astonishing. And Jace and Kyrin are so cute together. I hope to one day be as strong in my faith as Kyrin! Her courage in the face a danger is truly inspiring, and to watch Jace struggle with his past and still working through accepting who he is and that Elom truly does love him. Definitely book series I'll recommend all my friends!

  21. I'm almost finished with Exiles and I love the twists and turns throughout the book. I'm almost done so I may not have found all the twists or turns. I was wondering if this is the final book or if there will be another soon.

  22. I was so skeptical when my sister started raving about Jaye L Knight and how I need to get her book series (we're in Kenya by the way) - and then I started to read them because you had this great sale online a few weeks ago and I was like... heck, why not?? I'm so glad I only just found these out because I've read all three books in a row, and would hate to have had to wait so long to get my hands on the next one! I'm starting Exiles in a bit! I'm so impressed by the story line, and the quality of writing too, you're really talented Jaye, I'm so glad to see how the Lord uses you to reach us, definitely will be recommending it to friends and more family! Love from Kenya!!

  24. Dear Jaye L. Knight,
I will try, probably without success, to not make this a fan letter, but... I probably will fail tribally. *breathes* Whether you will read this or not, I wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your books. Both as a Christian and a writer. For me you are right up there with J. R. R. Tolkien and C. S. Lewis. *bits the inside of her lip because she just said that this was not going to be a fan letter* I am reading Samara's Peril right now, and can certainly say, "They keep getting better and better." It's not often that you can read wonderful books that are so encouraging yet full of action and adventure. They encourage me as a writer because I too want to be published at a young age. Well, young compared to authors at least. Every time I read your work, I feel that maybe someday God will use my writing as he has used yours. To affect and uplift hundreds of people. Anyways... I just wanted to make sure you knew how much I and a whole bunch of other young writers are inspired by you. I will pray that God continues to give you the joy and passion for writing. I am probably being annoying, but who cares. *grins and shrugs*
God bless you and your work.
