Ask away!

For the past week, I’ve been buried in preparations for the release of The King’s Scrolls (and trying not to freeze to death in my room). Yesterday I finished formatting TKS and got to order my first proof this morning! Yay! I can hardly wait to see it. Since I got such an early start, hopefully the paperback will be ready the same time as the Kindle.

Besides formatting, I’ve been doing a lot to set up the TKS blog tour. The response was amazing! As of right now, I’ve got 43 stops! I’m so excited for it to begin! :D

Now, the point of this post. Do you not have a blog, but still want to be a part of the tour? I’m going to have a special Q&A post during the tour. That means you can ask me OR one of my characters any of your burning questions and I’ll do my best to answer as many of them as possible. So go ahead, leave a comment with your questions! :) And even if you are part of the tour, you can go ahead and ask some questions too. ;)

  1. There was something I was saying to my sister about Jace earlier...and I can't remember what was now...
It had something to do with Frozen :)

Oh, I remember! I was saying that Jace should meet Larry the Cucumber. Jace thought he was different, now, when he meeys Larry the Cucumber...
Which led us to say that talking vegetables (without souls, I might add) telling Bible stories is really weird.
We have strange conversations at our house.

  2. And I do realize that had nothing to do with Frozen, but we talked a lot about Frozen after that. And we talk quite a bit about Ilyon and Frozen combined, so...I guess I got confused.

  3. I can't remember if the book mentions anything that would answer this question, but....what's Kyrin's favorite color?

  4. What was the hardest part of the writing process (1st draft, editing, etc.), Jaye?

  5. I was just thinking...will they ever discover gunpowder in Ilyon?

  6. I know I'm commenting a lot, but I have a lot of questions, and I never got around to putting them in an e-mail to you (actually I never got up the nerve).

Do they have musical instruments in Ilyon? Does Jace sing ever at all? Is he any good at it? What about Kyrin?

And now I'm thinking how sweet it would be to have Jace hear Kyrin sing (that is, if she's good at it). :)

Hey, I'm a writer, what can I say?
